Ok, so my mesa deisel 4x10 blew a speaker. Had it reconed the repair guy did a good job on the cabinet other than one odd looking driver compared to the other three lol. Got it home played for a while cabinet sounded great. Back to its punchy aggressive goodness but after I played a while the volume would drop for a short period of time and then restore itself back to normal. I'm assuming it can't be the cabinet just an assumption mind you, the amp is a mesa 400+ any idea's?

Check the connections on the cab.
Also verify the ohms value of the cab wasn't changed
    when redoing the speaker.

I would be happy if it were connections but impedance I didn't think about. I'll give the tech a call later get his input. Hope it's not the amp !
