In great shape considering age, sounds great, and loud! Very juicy and SVT like sound.

Prefer local at $275 but will ship on buyers dime if necessary.

Not interested in buying, sorry, but I love this combo. I have one myself and probably will hold onto it forever. These are wonderful little combos! They are juicy indeed. Great great tone.

I concur. I forgot my amp on a gig once, and my guitarist brought one of these. I used it all the time at rehearsals but wasn't sure if it could hang in a five-piece blues band. It did, and then some. Wonderful tone in a compact rig. I'd love to score one of these some day.

How did it hang? I'm just curious. Was it mic'd or ran to the PA?

Neither. All by itself. Keyboardist going through a 100-watt Roland amp; guitarist into a Deluxe Reverb blackface; drummer on a four-piece; and vocalist also blowing harp through a reissue Vibroverb. The Ampeg was fed a P and an upright (with a Realist pickup). Small to medium sized club; probably seats 100.

In fact, I haven't talked to the guitarist in quite a while, but an Ampeg B100R came up for sale recently. I emailed him to ask him how much he paid for his, and he said his was a B50R.

Free bump for an awesome little amp. If I didn't already have one, as well as a B100R, I'd be all over this -- even if cost 75 bucks to ship it. Not only does it have "that Ampeg tone" in spades, it also (as OP noted) is incredibly loud for 50w.
