1. Welcome to TalkBass 2014! If you're new here, we just went through a major site upgrade. Please post all concerns and bugs to the Forum Usage Issues forum. We will be monitoring that forum. Thank you for all of your feedback.

The TalkBass iphone/android app is NOT WORKING currently. We're working on it. Tapatalk IS working, so if you need to use an app, use Tapatalk. Try using your browser though - TalkBass is now 100% responsive to your phone/tablet screen size ;)

Please read the TalkBass 2014 FAQ for lots of great info on the new software.

...and i thought my GAS was under control.

This is made by Dreizehnbass.at - a young luthier from austria.
I own a fivestring made by him and really dig those instruments.

Very nice instruments indeed, however I'm not so sure about the headstock design...

I also think he's among the first in the German-speaking part of the world to build a sixer tuned F#. Build quality looks top notch. If it wasn't for those headstocks I'd be gassing too knowing I could never pony up the cash :crying:

Before getting my 5er, i thought the same, but they are quite cheap for what you get.
I really like the headstocks as they are, but as far as my knowledge reaches from emailing with dreizehnbass, he is not limited on that design and may be able to adjust them to meet your requirements as long as you don't ask him to do a 1:1 copy of an existing design.
