Just feel like sharing this: when I was a teenager, I begged my parents to let me start playing Bass. Finally they agreed and on February 15, 1985 I went to the local music store, signed up for bass lessons and rented a bass.

29 years later, I've owned 17 different basses. 11 are gone but here's what I currently own and use:

    From left to right.....
2013 Squier Vintage Modified Precision Bass 5
    2004 KSD Proto J 705
1991 Fender Jazz Bass Plus 5
    2012 Valenti VTJ5
2003 Fender Jazz CIJ '75 reissue (non export)
2008 Fender 50's Classic Series Precision Bass

    Thanks for looking!!! ImageUploadedByTalkBass1392490627.421315.jpg

Nice shot. I’ve got the twin to your CIJ ‘75 RI — one of my faves.

Just thought I'd update: the KSD is gone but I've got a used Geddy Jazz.

  8. More results of love will be found in the official "Show Yer Basses" sticky thread.

    Nice basses!

I really like the Jazz Plus. It stands out to me among all your basses, many of which are on my "short list."

That keyboard pic looks dangerous. Looks cool though.

Very nice!! Love the collection. A Stingray would round it out nicely.

Oh, I don't know why I think I have to say that (even though I fully believe it!). Your collection of basses is awesome.
