Perhaps he takes crime dramas on tv way too seriously and he thinks we can just "computer enhance" the resolution until its clear.

He is from Bemidji, MN. Do you have any idea how cold it is there? Those pics probably look clear as a bell to him:)

The elusive "Sasquatch" of the bass world....

  10. lol. With such excellent photos - that bass must be really nice. :D

  11. The problem in on the Craigslist end, not something the advertiser did or didn't do. How about helping him/her out if you know how to make the pictures load properly?

I put these pictures into TinEye, which is a reverse search engine that shows the origins of photos. When I tried putting these in I got no results, so they have not been posted elsewhere, which leads me to believe this guy put them straight from his computer onto craigslist, without using a photo sharing site, like photobucket.

Regardless the highest price I have seen a vintage jazz bass from the 60's sell for was only a few thousand, not anywhere near $13,000

  14. Originally from Brainerd, MN, so I too have earned the right to have my .02 on this... :bassist:

Besides the cold, it's quite possible that this is the first time anyone from that part of the state has attempted to use either a digital camera, or the internet--much less at the same time...:help:

    LOL

The strings don't line up over the polepieces.

  19. Why a MN seller posted an ad in Nashville?

Because every other individual in Nashville is a loaded country music star and they are just dumb enough to drop 13K sight unseen on an old git-tar.

Everybody knows this is true, especially the rich country stars in nashvegas.
