I've always liked the sound of Stingrays, I played drums for a while with a bassist that was a Stingray nut. Recently I played with another bassist who was playing a really nice 1995 Stingray. He offered to sell it to me, but I didn't have the cash. So... I'm trading him a set of Gretsch Catalina Birch drums.

Great looking bass. I love mine, though it took awhile to learn how to tame the beast. I personally like D'Addario Chrome flatwounds on it.
