Anthony Jackson's new bass in Bass Player mag

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by joe vegas, Feb 6, 2014.

  1. Thanks for posting. The simple passive electronics are the opposite to an Alembic, which makes it very interesting alternative at the high end bass market. The single Seymour Duncan pickup takes pride and place in the bass!

As I've said before AJ's tone to date is not an acoustic tone, i.e. very pianoesque, so it will be interestig to hear the difference of the acoustic body.

I got the chance to play a Fodera AJ6 recently and it was just a wonderful instrument.

I'm a real 4 string, skinny neck profile, guy but this thing just killed and I found myself able to move around way more easily than I would have thought possible.

I'd love to try one of the new ones!
