Any suggestions on what color I should paint my Gibson Grabber??

It's completely stripped so painting it or even doing a maple or buckeye top is all par for the course. Best idea wins an e cookie and I will be posting pictures.

Anyone have any any good (or not so good ideas?) Me and my buddy have a full shop at our disposal

Candy Apple Red.....There is something delightfully wrong about painting a Gibson in a Fender colour, but rules are made to be broken and CAR with a maple neck and black pick guard would look very pretty.

Nice bass by the way, not a fan of Gibson basses but the Grabber is pretty sweet.

Burgundy is my favorite stock color. Gibsons heritage cherry or Pelham Blue would be cool.

Actually, silver sparkle might kick butt on that bass.

I think that'd look pretty bad*ss :bassist:, a colour scheme that's pretty much the definition of Fender on a Gibson, plus its class all the way. I think that OP should give us an indication of what he is going for....or what kind of music he plays??

    Silverburst.

    Alpine white or olympic white.

British Racing Green (is that what that color is called?)

    Orange. For maximum obnoxiousness.

    Haze Grey.

Ok guys and gals, sunburst sounds pretty sexy to me (don't you all agree??) Im still open to ideas but this is the lead horse as of now.

Now we have to figure out what color the hardware should be: black or chrome? Gold even? We're gonna do hip shots been bridge and tuners.

And should the pick guard be tortoise?? Or sleek black?? I'm open to either

Finally what color should the face plate on the head stock be??

We do have access to some really nice flame and buckeye tops. Probably others too!!

We will be going for some (tasteful) veneers and maybe even a pick up cover!! Sky is the limit keep the ideas coming.
