1. Welcome to TalkBass 2014! If you're new here, we just went through a major site upgrade. Please post all concerns and bugs to the Forum Usage Issues forum. We will be monitoring that forum. Thank you for all of your feedback.

The TalkBass iphone/android app is NOT WORKING currently. We're working on it. Tapatalk IS working, so if you need to use an app, use Tapatalk. Try using your browser though - TalkBass is now 100% responsive to your phone/tablet screen size ;)

Please read the TalkBass 2014 FAQ for lots of great info on the new software.

Anybody got one of these?

    Or the 5 str model.

Or any 5 or 6 string short scale for that matter.
    I've only played 4s and feel I should get a 5er or even a 6er.
I've become infatuated with my short scale Starfire and prefer it over any reg scale bass I've owned. So a shorty w extra strings is tempting and these look nice.
But I hear the low B is not so great on a short scale bass.
True but you can make it work w the right string and gauge? True so don't bother just get a 34" or 35"?
