Anybody Own or Play the Washburn Stu Hamm Electric (not the AEB)?

    I think these are gorgeous. Anybody else ever play one? I'm intrigued by the pickup arrangement (piezo, Jazz, Stingay).

    I'd love to hear more about these. I have nothing but positive things to say about the Urge basses I have had. The pickups arrangement here makes a lot of sense to me - I've never seen one anywhere to test drive it.

    Tone Monter 2-band pre-amp
    Coil tap selector

    Soooo many tonal options now!

    Now wired master vol, blend (MM/J), 2-way MM coil tap switch, treb/bass stack, Piezo vol.

    My SHBH1B with EMG X-Series MM + J is now my favorite bass... and only 7 lb 5 oz of swamp ash and maple.

    How are you feeling about your modded SHB60?

    I've been looking for one to mod similar to what you did.

    You should definitely share with the Washburn Club Thread.
