Anyone have an Ampeg B-15 in Cardiff?

Are any of my bass brethren near Cardiff, Wales? I'm going to be doing some recording there in January and I'm looking for a B-15 or similar small tube amp to rent for the sessions. I've e-mailed all the local backline hire places, but no luck.

Maybe a back line rental shop can help locate one. Here is a place to start.

Thanks, but as I said, I already e-mailed all the rental places. Haven't had any luck so far.

I was thinking more that although they may not have one they might be able to help locate one. Best of luck and hope that the sessions go well.

You could post a message on basschat.co.uk and ask there.

Good thinking. I forgot all about that site.

Really looking forward to visiting Cardiff again. It has been too long.

If you can find one, the EBS Classic t90 is basically a one channel B15 with a bugger power tube section. But I find its not THAT much louder than my old B15N, and through the proper cab, it sounds pretty dang good. May be more accessible over there.

Don't you just love the auto-correction that these new fangled computers have built into them? Mine is always screwing with me.

    As does mine!!

OP whilst in the area, make sure you try some Caerphilly cheese. Always one of my favourites when I lived in that area. :)
