Please read the TalkBass 2014 FAQ for lots of great info on the new software.

Anyone know where to get plate tuners for this?

    Hi Zack.

If You don't mind me asking, why do you need new ones?

They look OK in the pic, and I didn't see a mention in the description of 'em being worn or needing replacing.

If it's just the looks, I'd re-plate them.

    Regards
    Sam

NO, NO, NO - Those tuners look great! If they work well, keep 'em as is, they are part of a vintage bass' character!

To clarify, I meant I have the same bass as the one in that ad. Mine is missing the tuners. Sorry for the miscommunication

That's what I thought you meant.

If you're willing to plug and re-bush the existing holes you can use any machines you want. Should you wish to avoid that hassle, get a set of individual machines (Rubners are nice for the price) and move on to the next part of the job.

Got it. I have some individual tuners, but I'm trying to make my bass look as original as possible. Plus, the holes are already there from the original plate tuners. Anymore resources that you guys would recommend?
