    Ummmmm. What?

That might be the worst idea I've ever seen (no offense to anyone who has one).

I feel like it's like putting a razor on the back of your toothbrush.

Just buy a bass and a guitar.

    It has "endless sustain".

I hadn't realized there was a market for this kind of contraption.

That video is so GANGSTA!! I just have to buy this bass assuming I can dance like the guy in the vid.

I would imagine the thing is a pain to play, so while I would love to try one, I wouldn't pay $350+ for the experience.

Then you must not have imagined the cock rock antics that could be pulled with that sort of thing.

Good god - my left thumb hurts just looking at that thing.

There should be a disclaimer on that: "Extended playing (over 5 minutes) may result in excessive bleeding... and leave your shirt on."

Another thought... if you make a truss rod adjustment on one side, aren't you screwing up the setup on the other side?!

and why is that guy eating the guitar 8 seconds into the video?

I thought it might be a good travel guitar. "Can't decide whether to bring a guitar or bass on your trip to the Bahamas? Now, thanks to the new Ronco Guitbass you don't have to?"

I like how both sides of the neck are 24 fret. Especially on the bass side; about 6 of those frets cannot possibly be reached.

If you're in a band with an attractive guitarist of the opposite sex, perhaps you may want to cut costs and share the instrument... just sayin.

Years ago I saw a Japanese man on TV who had gotten a patent for "6 day underwear." It was tighty whities with 3 leg holes so you'd rotate them one leg each day, then invert inside out. This seems every bit as appealing.
