    just checked - they advertise a buffered bypass, so no they aren't!

    Man those things scare me, I can see alot of money being spent on replacing ruined cables

    The only problem Ive had with mine is is moves...I'm guessing the cradle would stop it from happening

    Yes the cradle stops it from moving quite so much.
