Hi all - Long story short, after a long hiatus I have decided to start playing again and I have recently found that my Gen 1 Ashdown ABM 500 RC (which has been sitting in my dry basement) does not work on the tube side. At first it squealed and crackled so I blew it out with some compressed air and changed the tube. Now it will play on the solid state side but I get no volume on the tube side. Any ideas? I hope I can revive it as this amp sounded great with my Modulus Q5.

It comes down to this- if you have to ask a forum, you're better off finding a good amp tech to sort it out for you. You need all the testing equipment a tech will have, plus the knowledge of how exactly the amplifier works.
