Ashdown Mag 410T 450W 4x10

Discussion in 'Amps [BG]' started by NZBassman, Jan 7, 2014.

  1. I am looking at buying this cab to go with my Ashdown ABM EVO 900 III – I currently have a Warwick 4x10 600w and it sounds pretty good, but thought having an Ashdown cab to go with the Ashdown amp would be a better match?
My only concern is the EVO900 III is 575w a side and might be too powerful for the Ashdown Mag 410T.
But in saying that with my current set up I 've never had to have the amp volume over half way
    – thoughts?

The ABM 410 is much better than the MAG 410. It is rated at 650 watts / 8 ohms. Your amp deserves the ABM. -my $ 0.02

  4. thanks for that - thought it might be the case..... might stick with my current cab and save up for the ABM 410

The MAG 410 is a pretty decent cab. I used one with my ABM 900 EVO III for quite some time. But, if you are looking for an upgrade, try and pickup an ABM 610. This cab has really opened by eyes to how good the ABM head can sound. It is bags louder than the 410s and easier to move thanks to the wheels and tug bar. It also sounds great with my Ashdown CTM 300.

Just my $0.02 being thrown in as well :)
