I see these are selling for $449 on Musicians Friend, which is about what the old ATK305 sold for. Does anyone know if the quality is similar? The features look the same in the Ibanez catalog.

This one has an entirely different pickup from the original ATK 3-coils. There were several different ATK pickups. The current ones are just humbuckers.

The 305s were Indonesian, these I think are Chinese. Not positive.

Thing looks like it must weigh fifteen pounds. Good luck.

They're made in PRC and in ordinary ash, unlike Premium's 805 and Prestige's 1205, which stay thick and massive yet lighter

Yeah again: just double buckers here
CAPs are supposedly much like AlNiCo humbuckers: solid, reliable and effective, but the switch only switches (sorry) from front to both to rear doublecoils

Former Indo TripleCoils selected switch from:
    - front position (front and center coils in serial mode with rolled off tone)
    - center position (front and center coils in serial mode with all open tone)
    - rear position (front and rear coils in parallel mode)
