    Hey, I took this off a bass I just bought to replace with a matching black BAII. This is in fine shape and everything is functional. The issue I mention is the placement of the groove on the A string saddle is just a tad off making the spacing between the A and D slightly wider. We're talking like 32"s here. Totally useable as is but I think could be re filed by a picky crafty person. I am merely picky:D Other than that, all the actual groove filing is properly done.

    The grooves are not as far off as you think bump. If I didn't have one sitting unused still in packaging. I'd be all over it.

    Yeah, it's not a big thing. I see it and have to mention it but I'll bet many would not notice. Make me an offer folks or I'll keep it for parts:)

    Just going by the pix in your post, I think that if you swap the E and A string saddles, then all 4 string to string spacing measurements should be equal at 3/4". It also appears that the saddle groove depths will also be corrected.

    Hey, thanks! I've swapped the E and A and now it's a non issue! This kind of thing is what I love about TalkBass.:cool:
