So, would this be a good match?

I really dig my Linden, but unless you have a need for an outboard EQ for switching basses or things of that nature, not sure why you'd need it with a head.

Yeah, I get it ;) Well the Linden's great, but it's an EQ and doesn't modify the actual tone of the amp.

Note the Linden has been discontinued so finding one might be challenging.
I am holding on to mine. Love this pedal!

Man, as much good press as it got, this is shocking. Definitely will be holding onto mine, too.

oh, really? So only if I use it in a mixer or FOH? Wouldn't it do what the VT does? Give an Ampeg sound? Good thing I asked before buying it.....

Nope, sorry, Loopee. It will add a Baxandall EQ to whatever amp you use, but it'll retain the character of the amp you're using. The Baxandall EQ is very cool, but there's more to copping that Ampeg thing than just the EQ.

It IS good. No doubt about it. But at the end of the day, it's an EQ, not a preamp.

I love my Linden- got mine from musictoyz.com after Jimmie raved about it. I like it a lot - always on.

A quality built runoffgroove Ginger or Flipster is a good option.
