Bart mk1 pre @ 18v

    Has anyone tried running the stock mk1 pre on 18v to confirm that it works well and won't fry the pre?

    I would not try it. Keep in mind that this is not actually a Bartolini pre so it has nothing at all in common with the USA made Barts you see on their website.

    As a follow up..why would you want to run it at 18v?

    If someone says that they have, are you going to trust a stranger on the internet, when you're doing something that can fry your preamp?

    Search for proper documentation before taking risks.
