    A guitar battle ( or in this case a bass battle ) is about impress ...

    and well in that case, victor Wooten will win, he has more knowledge in theory, advanced technical skill and he has cleaner technic.

    Geddy is a rocker and Flea is a punk I don't think that can survive in a battle like that.

    If I'm not mistaken flea took a year at Berklee so he's pretty informed on music theory

    But he still play boring line since two or three album of pop music with RHCP. Before he felt old and that he should relax his playing ... So he doesn't quite use his newly acquire knowledge.
