Almost forgot: Jeff Caxide's chorus tones all over Isis "In the Absence of Truth" and "Wavering Radiant" albums!

  11. Doesn't YYZ by Rush have some subtle chorus on it?
Also, some of that "Valley Girl"/"Ship Arriving Too Late" era Frank Zappa had chorus on the bass played by Scott Thunes (although I don't think it was specifically on those two tracks). It was on some of the Broadway the Hardway album, too: (I love the "Mr. Sting" line), and I think it was on some other tracks from other albums. I can't really remember.

I believe Ross played his Steinberger on this one. Epic bassline, with a great sounding thick & syrupy chorused tone.

One of my favorites is Pino Palladino's bassline on Don Henley's "Sunset Grill". The combination of chorus + fretless bass = a beautiful & haunting tone.
