If you could take lessons from anyone, who would you want it to be??
Besides my current teacher? Probably Dave Holland (and I'm an electric player).

probably geddy or aram bedrosian. yeah, one of them.
I doubt she plays the bass, but you did say anyone.
me it would be Ant Wellington. (and it will be soon)
I would like to learn the way Rocco does his ghost notes. His left hand fingers just don't move, I wish I knew how he did that. I have tried and that trick is hard and hell on your hand.
Roscoe Beck or Wilbur Bascomb.
Hey, I might not learn much about the bass, but I'd get to spend time with Michelle Pfeiffer!
Billy Sheehan. When he speaks it just comes off that the guy knows EVERYTHING and has really smart ideas for working around your weaknesses. I admire him so much I would do a lot to have him teach me.
Your 4rth and 3rd finger and sometimes part of the palm(under the pinky) mute the notes being played , you can mute them hard or softly, keep practicing the one note groove part of "What is hip" to start , then try moving the notes around .
Excellent way to give those straight sixteenths an accented swinging feeling giving the groove a forward motion.
Thanks, I will have to keep at it..
I like that track!
Marcus Miller or Geddy. Two vastly different bassists so hard to choose.
Separate names with a comma.
