Bass VI brands?

    Who makes these apart from Fender, Schecter, Eastwood and Squier? The cheaper the better.

    If you are lucky enough, the old Danelectro Bass VI pops up every once in awhile on Ebay. There's also a guy who modifies the Danelectro Barritones to a Bass VI who sells on Ebay. Those are the cheapest. Rondo Music also has a Bass VI.

    Lakland makes one now -- Julie Slick plays one -- but that certainly won't be the cheapest....

    Ibanez made one with 7 strings a few years ago. Around 1000 bucks new :)
