I know I've got this bit somewhere in my mp3 collection, but I can't find it for the life of me. It goes something like:

"The thing about the Beatles is, they were men. Ringo, as great a drummer as he was, was a man. John Lennon was a testosterone testament". Etc. It's hilarious, and I want to play it for a friend. Thanks.

Oh geez, I just figured it out. It's from an obscure album I have called "Mutant Dog" by the Frank Spencer Quartet. It purports to be a rare interview with roadie Mal Evans. OK, since I started this stupid thread, has anybody heard that bit anywhere? Is it really Evans?

Just trying to salvage what might be the stupidest thread ever.

Looks like I was wrong :) I would love to hear it sounds funny.

  6. That's quite a claim to make. Especially around here…

  7. I actually think "Leggy" Mountbatten originally said it.

nah, leggy was all about the trousers.

  9. Mal Evans was shot and killed in 1976. Which would make the purported date of the interview somewhat questionable, unless he was pulling a Tony Clifton.

But that said, maybe Dr. Finklesteinberg can explain it...
