Chris Benevente bass in brand-new condition, incredible instrument. I'm selling these because I am principally a guitar player and simply do not have enough time seriously play bass.

    NO TRADES!

This fretted SC5 is fabricated with premium select spalted maple inlays, front and rear faceplates, a walnut core and wenge fingerboard. The fingerboard is bound w/ wenge. The four pickup-four volume control system is fantastic and state-of-the-art. The selection and interrelationship of the pickups are selected with the volume controls. This allows for a huge variety of tonality and fine tuning. It also has many of which are not possible with conventional pickup systems. Treble and bass controls are added for further refinements. It comes with a high-quality structural foam gig bag. Asking $2,950 plus shipping, PayPal is accepted. Call me at 330-494-3302 or email m_gatien@yahoo.com, Mike.

the nut is 1 3/4". String scale is 17" nut to 12th fret so is a 34" scale. 3" is correct for the bridge string spacing.

Weight 11 lbs. My son says the scale is accurate (he measures for bodybuilding). It does not feel heavy to me & I play guitars.

Note, pro level lineup just completd by a Martin Auth. Repairman.

The gig bag is a Pro Tech

If I didn't have another Benavente coming, I would snatch this back!

I was the first owner, and only sold it to fund another Benavente! Lol

    I think I have a problem ......

The preamp boosts the signal and makes all of the sounds "bigger", so it goes from passive to active. Four of the knobs adjust the volume for each pick up. One is a classic active tone control and the other is the preamp. The neck is flat and thin without being too thin.

There is some arch in the back of the neck but not a lot. The playability and feel are as good as it gets.
