I'm a huge Bernard Edwards fan, and I particularly love his tone on the "C'est Chic" album. Was he using the Stingray yet? It doesn't sound quite like it to me, but I could certainly be wrong.

If not the Stingray, what would it have been? In the video for "I Want Your Love", he's uing a BC Rich (Eagle?) with a single reverse P pickup, but I'm not sure if he actually used it in the studio.

    Thanks!

Word is he didn't use the B.C. Rich in the studio much (if at all). Couldn't tell you what bass it is on that album though.

I do not feel like looking up the link, but there is a really long thread in Basses about what basses Edwards used. C'est Chic was their second album, and I am pretty certain it was all Stingray.
