I have Yamaha RBX270L, and it sounds neat, but I need a more blues sound to it. It has a P/J config, but there is veeery little difference between the sounds, as factory Yamaha pickups are not very great. I've heard from RBX270 users that they often replace the pickups, because of this reason. Any suggestions? Not too pricy I'd ask :)

Bill Lawrence Wilde Pickups. Around $110-120 or so for a P/J set. Very reasonable price wise, I don't think you can do much better for the money. If your really tight on money, check out GFS pickups. They are supposed to be pretty good economy pickups though I've not tried them myself. I have a Bill Lawrence P-46 though and love it.

That is a pretty decent set... How would you describe the sound? If there is a way to describe it that is :)
