Branford Marsalis - Evidence

    Hey guys, i'm trying to transcribe Branford Marsalis' version of "Evidence" from thel album "The steep anthology". In the first b-section they play in somthing like double time but i cant really figure out what it is. can anyone explain what happens? Thanks :)

    I don't know the album, but if it's the same arrangment as this live clip:

    then they play in 6, and play hits on the 1 of each bar rather than the '1 and' like Monk does

    there's a really nice Eric Revis solo on that link, by the way
