    bass --> effects --> amp --> speaker

    or

    bass --> wireless** --> effects --> amp --> speaker

    It doesn't really matter whether you put the tuner before or after the VT. The loop send/return on the VT is so you can switch multiple fx pedals on/off at the same time, just using the footswitch on the VT.

    **edited because the guys below are right, I goofed when I wrote effects before wireless. Duh!

    Have you read the manuals for your gear? Could be useful stuff in there. ;)

    Effects after the wireless? What's the point in having a wireless?

    Bass > wireless > effects > amp > speaker.

    And Bongo is right about the loop in the VTD, except I've found that pedals in the VTD's loop sound hideous, so I'd pass on it.

    I go
    Bass -> wireless -> effects -> amp -> speaker. I like being able to move around without a cable on me.
