Bridge String Spacing for Slapping

    Hi Tony. I just modded a wide necked 5 string bass into a 6 stringer. This gives me a 15mm string spacing at the bridge, & really helps my left hand technique.

    However, I haven't learned slap technique yet, & now I suspect that my thumb's upstrokes might be hampered with the spacing. What do you think?

    I had a similar problem but honestly with some simple exercises and repetition you will be cool :)
