The original owner had this listed as weighing 8.5 lbs, however it feels lighter then that and my kitchen scale reads between 7.5 and 8 lbs.

Great sounding, easy playing, lightweight bass with amazing tonal variation. I've gigged with it 4 or 5 times in the past 10 months and it really sounds amazing but I realize that this is way more bass then I need. So I'd like to sell it so I can try out some other basses. Actually my Modus operandi is that I don't keep a bass much longer then a year before I sell or trade it. I keep rotating my stock ;).

    Condition:
This bass has been played but not abused. No dings to mention, Negligible fret wear. There are some string marks on the fret board around the second and third frets (see pictures). Some fingernail marks and light swirls on the finish. If you hold it to the light at the right angle some finish imperfections can be seen.

I'm listing this at $1200 trade value or $1100 cash, shipped CONUS. Paypal ok.

Trade? for me, I prefer fretted 4 strings.

I'm the original owner... had it built for me by Kevin Brubaker back in '99. Damn pretty bass.

I have a whole pile of recordings of it... I'll see if I can dig something up for you.

If anyone has any questions about the bass, I'd be very happy to answer them!

Would you be interested in trading for a Modulus Genesis 5 string? If so, I can send you pictures.

Thanks for your assistance with the sound clips. I'm sure that your recordings will be better at demonstrating it's full potential.

Those are interesting basses but I'm not into 5 strings.

    Thanks for the offer.

I'm not usually "into" blue colored basses or guitars, but I've got to say that is absolutely beautiful. GLWTS!:)

The bass is sold contingent on the check clearing.

I will keep the thread open until I ship the bass.

Thanks to everyone for their interest.
