Sigh...at one time I had it all, an SVT Pro with the 8x10, a relic pbass, and a relic jazz lake placid blue.

Then buying a house and growing up came and I needed to sell my gear and get some more budget friendly gear.

Now I have a Ray34, a MIM Pbass with quarter pounders, and an Acoustic b200 combo.

I like the tone from the b200, I don't like the weight. I played a GK mb115 II at the music store tonight and loved it; however, it is a bit outta my range possibly.

I noticed the Peavy Max 115 300w, would this give me a bit more headroom than the b200? I know its already about 20lbs lighter. Or would overall this be a downgrade?

Dunno, no Acoustic here. If you figure you can get X for that on CL, what's the most you could then put into a new rig?

I'm guessing I'd get around 150 for it....

I guess the issues are these

    1. Keep the b200 and suck up the weight
    2. Upgrade to a GK MB, would the 115 give more headroom?
    3. Get the Peavey max 115 300w , is this an upgrade?

Headroom rocks. Take your combo down to the store and A/B it.
