    He seems receptive to the specs I wanted so I ordered. I'll post a review when it arrives

    This model is fairly BIG sounding.... Its a '51 style p-bass humcanceling. I had him wind it hot - about 11.5k ohms. I sent it back to have him raise the A and D poles as they were weaker than the other 2 and he was totally cool with changing it for me. Very good guy to deal with.
    Sounds great! Highly recommended for this style pickup.... I think I'll have him do a split P next to see what he can do with that style.
