Hello lads I'm in the process of making a side modulation/reverb/dely board and want to be able to take the all out at once, like Justin from Tool except I hate it when all the delays/reverbs just cut off so I was think about getting a pedal that gives a controlable amount of fadeout time.

    Cheers, Sam.

Most current delay and reverb pedals have an option for trails. The Zoom MS70-CDR is one of the better options to get reverb and delay with high levels of programmability in a single pedal. For $110 new, you can't ask for much more. You can bring up to 6 effects within the pedal in an out with a single click. If you want to stack pedals that you already own in a single loop, check out the Zvex loop gate.

Yeah that's the idea, thanks for the pedal man I think it's what I'm looking for.

EDIT: I can't find any videos or information that says the loop gates does what I want, I'm just after a pedal that when I hit it it turns brings in my effects loop with a fade in, so the dry being mixed until it's all wet and then vise versa when I turn the effects off.

EDIT 2: Something like the Radial bigshot mix or the Gigrig wet box but with the speed/level of the blend not controlled by an expression but preset with knobs.

I believe the Pigtronix Keymaster has an adjustable fade between two channels. It also does a bunch of other cool things. But it's expensive.

The ZVEX Loop Gate looks cool, but I'd like to see a unit with multiple loop capability.

Glad to help. I owned one for quite a while. I put my POG2, Reverb, and Flashback Delay in the loop. I wanted to be able to cue in the POG2 pad tone with a single click and then have it fade out naturally as I brought my clean tone back in. It was so much easier to bring in and out a three pedal combo without abrupt changes in tone.

Thats a cool way of using it, my band is going in a post metal kind of direction so having the tones fade in instead of just changing drastically whould add to the texture.
