Can the stock SUB RAY4 pickup be wired in series mode?

    I've wanted to try a passive series mode MM-type setup for a while. If I can re-wire a RAY4 this way, it wouldn't cost too much. Can anyone advise?

    If it isn't epoxy potted with a single conductor output, then yes.

    You may or may not need to replace the leads with four conductor wire.
