I was thinking Toyota Corolla, but the rear window is wrong. Sorry for the bad shots. The character "Combo" drove this car in the TV series Breaking Bad. Any ideas? My guess is mid-80s and Japanese, but I am not sure.

Anybody who can come up with the make/model will get a heartfelt THANK YOU!

Oh, the spoiler and other stuff are almost certainly aftermarket.

Hmm... I'm guessing some sort of Datsun. Any shots of the front?

That's what I thought, but the rear window is wrong.

Good ketch on the rear window the Corolla gt looks closer but there's a post between the side windows supra's of the eara also look close but not quite there.
Maybe it's a corolla gt that's had its post painted black or some other 80's toyota mutation.
It is modded that's for sure.

Yeah, I should have stuck with "some sort of Datsun". I'm weak and easily swayed! :D

When I was 15-16, I wanted Michael J Fox's truck from Back to the Future! I eventually got it!

Many sold here as Nissan Silvia used import from Japan. A day late.

Not anywhere near positive on this but the name plate on the right side of the trunk looks a lot like what I'm seeing on pics of the 80's era Dodge Charger.

For the 1985 year, Nissan dropped the Datsun name brand for good. This was a positive change, and MOST of junk 'used' cars in the paper that nobody wanted up to that time were-you guessed it-Datsun!
