Tangerine dream. Sounds like a 'Ray, 34" scale, 18mm spacing at the bridge. No flaws I can find.

Check the orig FS thread and links for great pics

Gorgeous and essentially as new. Comes with crappy gigbag.

Priced at a firm and fair, spankin' deal: $1250 shipped conus from NY or picked up in Montreal.....maybe the biggest bargoon on TB ATM IMHO.
Possible trades +/- cash either way: GB, GK, Eden or TC small heads. Lakland, Sadowsky, Elrick (Classic or Evo shapes), Drozd 5ers

Yeah-and it has the growl to match the finish. Thanks for the offer but the Pavel isn't my thing and unless a trade is generating cash I'd rather keep this axe.

Why is this still here. If you were to order this direct from me, it would cost over $1000 more than what Lomo's asking.

    Nino,

If I weren't totally broke, I would have bought this bass the day that Lomo listed it!

    Thinking this one over....
I see the string spacing is 18mm.
    Whats the nut width?
Guessing the controls are volume, treble and bass ?
    Pickup is Nordie? SD? MM?
    Fretboard is....rosewood? Morado? ? ?

Nice work Nino, love the color.

    Nut width=1.75"
    Yes: vol, treble, bass
    Nordie 'bucker
    Looks like rosewood to me.

According to Nino, preamp and pickup are both Nordstrand MM models, and fretboard is Pao Fero (a/k/a Morado).

Thanks for the clarification. She's got a gritty, gargantuan, greasy, groovin', growl.

Still here. How I wish this bass had 19mm bridge spacing. She's perfect for me in every other way. I think the nut width and neck would not allow a bridge swap to make her 19mm, else I'd transform her.

19mm is possible but not recommended. I offer different neck heel widths for 18mm and 19mm. If I installed a 19mm bridge on that bass, there is a possibility that the strings will slip off the edge of the fretboard. The nut is not a problem. I've built 1-3/4" nuts with 19mm bridges with no problem, as long as the neck heel is wide enough.

Crazy sounding but can you build a 35" scale neck for this bass?

Probably best to pm Nino on that. I certainly don't know the answer.
