I've been using this for almost a year. I bought it for my rehearsal rig but have ended up gigging with it more than once. I am selling only because I'm going to try out a Phil Jones amp.
I found these Carvins to be a well built alternative to the other 200W micro heads out there. Solid metal housing has easy access with a screwdriver. All metal jacks and mini switches and large enough knobs as to be readable from a distance.
Packed with features like compressor, contour, parametric mids EQ, direct out post/pre switch tuner out and more. 200W @ 8 ohms-250W @ 4 ohms. Size: 10" wide x 7.15" deep x 3.7" high
    Weight: 3.2 pounds. $199

I have the same power section in my BX combo. Not only bang for the buck, but it sounds pretty nice as well!

I have all three of the BX heads. Well worth the price new, so this is a very good deal.

I'm kinda interested in this but I'd have to sell my other head first. I will subscribe just in case... how does it handle effects/amp sims in front of it. is it fairly transparent?

I don't use any effects so I can't really help in that dept. Transparent? I think so when compared with the GK- GenzBenz- Aguilar stuff.

I was getting a fever about this amp when I blinked and realized there is no Aux input.

When I get home, my gig amp becomes my practice rig and I gotta have that Aux input so I can practice with MP3 player and phones.

    Shucks.
