Just watching Led Zepplin's Celebration Day concert for the first time. JPJ is always good and tasteful, but I'm newly impressed with his performance on "In My Time Of Dying" on a maple neck fretless P-Bass. It's not overly technical / complex, but it is very cool and just what is needed to propel the song without overdoing it or underdoing it.

An inspiring performance by one of the pioneers of classic rock bass.

Check out the 1975 performance on the "Led Zeppelin" DVD, too.

His fretless P-bass was way out front in the mix, sounded killer!
