    cleaning out some laptops i've acquired. all work great, no issues.

    samsung AMD 1.90Ghz a8-4500m quad core, windows 8 64 bit, 4gb ram, 500gb hdd, dvd burner, great shape, barely used, $250.00

    dell inspiron 1505, 2gb ram, 1.66GHz core 2 duo, 120gb hdd, windows 7, very good shape $100.00

    Lenovo x300. 64gb ssd hd, 2gb ram, core 2 duo 1.2GHz, nice and lightweight. $200.00

    Do any of these have FireWire?

    I'll check which ones. But I know at least 1 has 4 pin firewire and 1 or 2 have PCMCIA card slots and I have a 6pin FireWire PCMCIA card

    so the dell 1505 has 4 pin
    I also have an lenovo x61 with 4 pin firewire $120.00
    a dell latitude e6400 with 4 pin firewire $150.00

    all also have pcmica card slots for adding the 6pin firewire card (which is what most people think of when they say firewire)
