    Hi All,

Regrettably, I'm parting with my Citron AE5 'Swallow' bass as I'm finding it increasingly hard to moonlight between it and my double bass.

It's in perfect condition except for a few minor indents next to the output jack.

I'm looking to get $5K. For the bass, leather gig bag, and custom-built flight case.

    Pictures on the way...

PM me to enquire re. shipping, make an offer, etc.

    Best wishes,
    Abel

Wow, these basses never show up here.
Unless you want to incur the wrath of the mods, you're gonna want to post an asking price (as opposed to an external link)
    Good luck with the sale.

Thanks Tampabass. I'm new to TalkBass. Novice mistake...

    Open to offers though?

    Many thanks,

Beautiful bass, and just amazing tone -- at least, when Swallow plays it. Rare.

    really a fretless guy though

I've got a gaggle of high-end basses - any interests for trade or partial trade?

    Hey lennybass,
    It's a 36".
You can find all the specs here - http://www.citron-guitars.com/instruments/basses/ae5-swallow-bass/

    pnchad,
I'm actually downsizing my arsenal of electric basses to focus on the double bass (the vast majority of my playing nowadays), so would really prefer the money to a trade,
    Thanks for your interest.

That sounds like the same problem that Swallow had -- he, of course, made the opposite decision.

Gorgeous bass. Wish I had the bread. Best wishes for a quick sale.

Thanks for the kind words pnchad.

RHFusillo, you're absolutely right about the upright/electric crossroads...
I guess I'm doing the Ron Carter instead of the Swallow. When he heard Wooten and Miller coming up he stopped moonlighting and hung up the electric.

I'd have thought it was Pastorius and Clarke.

    ***UPDATED SHIPPING INFORMATION***

As I've received a few enquiries re. shipping to the US, I can tell you that shippping to mainland USA will now be $269.40. I managed to score a smaller box for the gig bag, which brought the price down.

Insurance of $5K remains at $270.

    Many thanks,
    Abel
