Consistent Passive tone

    Was sent this clip by Stew Mac today about getting consistent passive tone across all volumes. Found it pretty interesting. As we have all experienced. Even on a bass, the best tone out of a passive pickup (w/out a preamp) is generally with the volume maxed out. I guess this would work on a bass too.

    Interesting....



    Of course with a passive jazz bass wired volume/volume, you would have to do it twice.
