Could someone help me with the Ampeg PF heads?

No intention to beat a dead horse, but after looking at them, I feel like I'm missing something. The 350 has two 1/4" speaker outputs, the 500 has a 1/4" and what looks to be a power amp output. Can I not split the 500 between two non-power amp cabs?

My plan is to split the head between the Ampeg PF-410 and a Trace Elliot 2x15 if that matters.

Yes sir, as long as both cabs are 8ohm. Use the 1/4" out as well as the speakon out! You would just need to purchase a speakon cable or speakon adapter!

what dead horse? the PF's seem to be quite alive to me.
most cabs these days have 2 in/outs, so you could also daisy chain 2 8ohm cabs too - amp to cab 1 - cab1 to cab2.

What's the problem? The PF has a 1/4" out and a speakon out. Either way, if you only use the quarter inch, you can still daisy chain the speakers off of one output.

Ah, I forgot that I could daisy chain the cabs. If I daisy chained them, would that have any significant impact on the sound as opposed to going straight from the headto the cab on both?
