I'm in a rock band that plays songs from the 60's up to including today's current songs. One rule we have is that the songs must be danceable andstill work in a four piece rock band.
I'm hoping to get suggestions from folks regarding danceable rock tunes that are fairly current, like songs from this century. If I could test the patience of this group, could you please suggest some songs that are working for you?
Here's our current song list, to give you an idea of what we do.

Some modern country might work for you. Its current and is really just rock like mellencamp and Bryan Adams.

We do a few songs that are post 2000 that are not originals, most of our covers are from the 90s. We are a prog rock trio.

Foo Fighters - The Pretender & Everlong, the former requires lots of backups
    Porcupine Tree - Blackest Eyes
Slash - Standing in the sun
Pearl Jam - Mind Your Manners
Stone Temple Pilots - Out of Time
    Creed - What If
Arkells - The Boss Is Comin' (Possibly CANCON...)
Big Wreck - The Oaf (CANCON?)
Danko Jones - Regrets (Did he break the US market? Bigger in Europe than here at home, great high energy rock from his whole catalog)

My drummer insists on covering current songs to impress our local rock station even though their programming director views the station as a classic rock station and our number one local station is a classics station. (This fact speaks volumes about my city's musical tastes)

You've got some great choices in there for the record.

EDIT: Just noticed your location...probably could have left out the CANCON mentions...
