Can't help but just straight groove when I listen to this! Its an "I can't go for that" cover from Daryl's House on youtube. I've never heard of this before but Daryl features musicians playing current and past hits

I played this song 7 nights a week for at least a year back in my cover band days but this gave me a whole new appreciation for this tune. Thanks for sharing the link!!!

It's on cable on Saturday nights (WBIN) around here. And also online. I watched so many of those episodes. You can get captured for hours on that site b/c the music is so good. Check out the episode with the Dirty Heads.

  15. Drummer is Brian Dunne, bassist is Klyde Jones, both formerly with Average White Band; both vets of many many session recordings, too.

I want to know where Klyde got his Jazz V. Haven't seen one like that (black/tort/maple) anywhere but in his hands.

So what is he playing? :) It looks like its some sort of custom 5 string Fender jazz.

I agree only because I detest Ceelo's voice. The bass on the Ceelo version was pretty stanky though.

Call me crazy but I actually liked Cee Lo's vocals! It was all part of the complete package but that bassline....

I wasn't too keen on Cee Lo's vocals during the first few lines but I kind of liked them after that. The bass is great but I was actually most impressed by the guitarist. Fantastic feel and tone!

Agreed, All part of the complete package. I don't know if I would change a thing about it!
