I am going to order my American Design Experience bass in the next day or two. (There are other threads to talk about if you like that concept or not :bassist: )

I am down to four color scheme choices shown below. My main player is an American 08 Standard (shown below below) as a color comparison. I want different if I am going to build MY bass.

Just out of curiosity, which way would you go? I can hear the comments already: "what do YOU like, that's all that matters." And "insert Fender bashing here." For those that want to play along, of the ones I have designed (and one by my four year old daughter), which would you select?

Current numero uno player (every gig at least one song since I got her).:

I'd make a AVRI '63 P for only 2/3 of the price.

IF IT WAS AVAILABLE FOR EUROPE :bawl:

If you could get the silverburst with black block inlays IMO it would be one of the nicest looking combinations ever...

Always like the Silverburst finish, though I'd go rosewood on that, but I've REALLY been craving the LPB/Tort combo... so I voted for both

    I dislike the first least.

I picked Blue/Tort/Rosewood which I'm guessing is your daughter's creation. I had a MIM P that looked just like that which I, regrettably, sold a couple years ago.

I have never been a fan of pearl inlays on a maple board, so i guess the rosewood/lpb? It would look so much better with a mint pg tho...

I like that one too. I'm also guessing that it's the daughter bass because it's the odd one out in terms of fretboard.

The blue one would look killer with a maple fretboard.

I was thinking silverburst, but now I am really thinking about the one my 4 year old little girl designed ... but I went vintage with it...
