    Hello all,

I've recently been looking into buying a custom made bass. I had a site and person in mind, but I lost the link and I have no clue as to if I got the link from Google or if it was from here. So I was wondering if anyone could give me some information on where I can get me a great quality custom bass.

DO you have any more info on it? What did the builder's name sound like? Any aesthetic tips you can give us? With what you've given us it could literally be one of hundreds of bass builders/companies :)

He said he wanted a custom made bass. A Huff bass never gets the made part done.

I forgot his name completely. The only thing I remember is that he makes customs designs on the body, but I'm not necessarily looking for that same person, I'm just looking for different options.

What style instrument are you looking for. Your question is very vague. Are you looking for a 15 string, made from exotic woods, or a four string solid color, or anything in between? What is your price range?

We're going to need clues. This is starting to sound like when my wife asks me to find the thing. What thing? The THING, you know? NO I DON'T.

Well 4 string, I prefer short scale basses, someone who could slap on any design on the body I could throw at them, and price doesnt matter for me. If the quality is there, and the person or company has a good reputation I'd pay almost anything.

Howsabout telling the board here some of your favorite shapes? Or the feel you want? Modern, active? Classic, old school tone & vibe?

There's still a universe of types and if you could narrow it to a solar system of types, you would probably get great suggestions.
