I'm getting new custom hearing protection because I lost my old ones a long time ago. I know that I can choose between different values of attenuation, but are there different brands of attenuators (the little hockey puck thingies that go onto the fitted part) that I can choose from? Just wondering if there are some that are more even across the spectrum than others.

I know there is different decibel levels to choose from -15db/-20db/-25db etc....but as far as tonal variations...thats a question you should ask your audiologist...i never even thought of asking that question when I got mine...I purchased mine for $275.00.can funds
