This beauty was put together by a luthier out in Long Island NY.

Vintage oly yellowed by age. Very minor nicks and dents accordingly for its age it's in great shape. Was made for Bobby Rodgers which you can see from the headstock.
My guess is that it was made back in the early 80's.

Maple neck ebony fretboard. Body seems to be ash or alder not sure. Upgraded pickups Basstec jazz pup. schaller tuners. Will shipped in a polyfoam case.
Completely set up with new strings an action is nice and low.plays like butta!
    Asking $750.00 shipped conus only..

The truss rod nut was hard to get so I just dremel the pg and top with some acrylic paint. Not bad if I do say so.

I thought I was keeping this bass so it never bothered me. But for those that care for esthetics rather than tone, I will supply a black pick guard as a replacement. Not the best luthiery on my part ergo "the open to reasonable offers!" Bump. Thanks for observation but the pictures offers full disclosure..

Is the headstock decal under the finish?
And which Schaller tuners are they? Would need a HipShot d-tuner added.
Any weirdness under the pick guard? I would run her naked.....

Thumb rest is permanently affixed unless you take off the mop dots on it, pretty cool if you ask me. No way if determining if anything funky is under there. Yes headstock decal is under the finish. Whoever Bobby Rodgers was he definitely was into to it for the long haul. The body has the yellowed with time look which gives it a very vintage look. And my feeling is that this build was back in the eighties. Pretty great shape if you ask me for an instrument that at least 25 years old.
